Motion Graphics + AI Hybrid

This project reached over 3 million views across TikTok and other social platforms, demonstrating the impact of combining generative AI with motion design in a commercial context.

I led the creative direction end-to-end, beginning with the generation of custom AI assets and extending through final motion graphics and post-production. The goal was to explore a hybrid workflow, using AI to create production-ready visuals while enhancing them with traditional motion design techniques.

By integrating generative AI into the asset creation process, I was able to significantly reduce production costs and timelines while maintaining a high level of visual quality. Motion graphics played a key role in elevating the final output, helping to refine the aesthetic and subtly mask artifacts that can sometimes appear in AI-generated imagery.

The project began with a simple brief: product images of the shoes on a white background. From there, I developed the full visual direction. Drawing inspiration from classic 90s silhouettes like Converse and Puma Suede styles, I built a look that blends nostalgic grunge elements with a modern studio environment. Layered textures, graphic treatments, and dynamic motion helped bridge past and present, resulting in a distinctive and contemporary social media ad.
