This project was an opportunity to explore creatively with full freedom over the visual direction. Starting from a rough edit, I was tasked with developing a distinctive look and “Adding Frank’s Magic” through motion design.

I began with R&D, building a visual style system rooted in the shoe itself, pulling textures and a cohesive color palette directly from the product to ground the design. From there, I expanded the concept to give the piece a stronger sense of identity and energy.

At the time, Terance Mann was playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, which inspired me to lean into a distinctly Los Angeles aesthetic. To capture that vibe, I incorporated a heat-map-inspired echo wave effects that flow throughout the video, reinforcing both movement and atmosphere.
